Shelter Box Appeal
On Friday 29th January the children and staff at Bracken Leas School raised over £1300 for Shelterbox. This staggering amount will help to pay for nearly 3 Shelterboxes to provide emergency accommodation and aid for people left homeless by the Haiti earthquake. In addition to the 'mufti' day a number of girls from around the school have been baking cakes to sell for the appeal. President of the Rotary Club of Brackley, Chris Watts, said that he was immensely proud to be able to present a certificate to the school in appreciation of their fantastic effort to raise so much money for the distressed people of Haiti.
