140 talented young musicians demonstrated their vocal or instrumental skills in the Brackley round of Rotary's national Young Musician Competition.

The competition was held last November in the Waynflete Hall.

The overall winner was solo vocalist Amy Ruffley. Amy was presented with the Marc Coleman Shield by Mrs. Gill Coleman.
The runner-up was Cerys Upstone on the Eb Tenor Horn.

This event was dedicated to the memory of Marc Coleman; local headteacher, musician (co-founder of Brackley Music School) and Brackley Rotarian.
